Studio Jochem was founded by Jochem Sanders.

Just like the pieces created by the studio, Jochem has had a previous life. For almost two decades Jochem travelled the world as a photographer where he worked with some of the greatest names in the industry. During those years he developed his own unique style and craft. 

Inspired by the places he visited and the people he met he decided to go back to The Netherlands to rekindle his first love, interior design. With a university background in architecture and industrial design Jochem started making furniture for people close to him. Soon enough the world started to discover his designs and demand rose. But instead of producing more pieces, Jochem set out to produce better pieces. Where other people saw waste, Jochem saw opportunity and meaning.
